What’s Under the Hood
At the heart of this heater is a high-output infrared lamp, designed to pack a lot of warmth into a small footprint. But here’s the catch: that kind of output means the surrounding fixture and mounting area will get hot. Give it some breathing room. Materials and Design Choices
We went with a quartz tube and an internal halogen capsule. Quartz is tough—it handles rapid heating and cooling, and it stays stable even with frequent on/off cycles. The halogen cycle helps keep the filament clean, so performance stays consistent over the life of the lamp. We also tuned the spectrum to be gentle on the eyes. This isn’t a blue-heavy light. It leans into infrared for heating and keeps visible light soft, especially for sensitive eyes. Installation is straightforward thanks to the R7s connector. It’s a common two-pin setup, so swapping the tube is quick—less downtime, more comfort. And the IPX4 rating means it’s protected against splashing water from any direction, so it can handle bathroom life without giving up on day one.
