The Power Behind the Heat
We built this heater for the real world—the kind of industrial space where every inch counts and machines can’t afford to sit idle. Here’s the heart of it: a 400V, 2500W halogen tube, all packed into a 300mm length. That combo gives you serious heat in a small package. It means you can zero in on a specific zone, get it hot fast, and not worry about overheating everything around it. The 400V isn’t an accident. It lowers the current, which means you can use smaller wiring and put less stress on the connections. And that 300mm tube? It keeps the heat laser-focused. But it also means you need to manage the airflow. If you’re running it at full power, your cooling system needs to be ready for the extra warmth.
Built to Last, Built to be Safe
The tube itself is wrapped in quartz, filled with halogen. This isn’t just for show—it keeps the heat steady over the life of the lamp and can handle the shock of rapid temperature changes. The special coating helps keep the surface temperature even, so you don’t get those hot spots that kill other heaters early. The R7s connector is simple and solid. You snap it in, and it stays put, even on a busy, vibrating production floor. And for safety, we added integrated tip-over protection. If the heater gets knocked out of place or isn’t mounted right, it automatically cuts the power. That stops things from overheating and keeps both your machine and your workpiece safe.
Where It Shines
This setup is a direct, plug-and-play upgrade for machines that need quick, focused infrared heat—like plastic processing, sealing packaging, or drying parts. You wire it up once, and that R7s connection keeps maintenance a non-issue. The halogen element jumps into action almost instantly, so you get stable temperature control without waiting around. But here’s the thing to remember: that 2500W of power in a 300mm space is intense. Plan your mounting distance and make sure your cooling is in order. Otherwise, you risk frying nearby sensors and materials.
